proud of his work

He thinks back over his life to his work with people with disabilities.

How they were able to move out of facilities and into group homes in their communities.

He is proud of the work he did to support them in their lives.

He is proud of his creativity. He has written songs and performed with his guitar.

He really has tried to advocate for better lives and living conditions for himself and others.

The thing that strikes him most about the palliative care unit is how much quieter it is here than it was when he was in the hospital.

The food here on the unit is also much better too.

He is very excited about being able to get a haircut.

He appreciates all staff for their kindness, respect and support.
