When she had a management job with no contact with patients or families, she missed that personal contact and was eager to take on a new job which allowed her to help and interact with them again.
She loves supporting the patients, families, and her staff.
She worked during the pandemic on COVID units and knows how hard the staff worked and the toll it took on them during that time.
She loves being here on the new unit and is grateful for all of the medical and other innovations that have made palliative care so much better than it was when she started in this field.
